do you ever worry...

...that you're the only one who's house is a complete wreck?

...that it's only your house that's totally exploded into toyville?

...that someone might find out you sometimes turn off the light & leave the mess for tomorrow?

now you know you're not alone :)

I heard the best thing you can do for other mom friends is not clean your house when they come over so kudos to you for being the best friend of all!!!!

You're kids may be too young for this, but my biggest life change, sanity saver has been the institution of 5 o'clock clean up. We switch up the incentives and music, but at 5 my kids are each assigned 2 rooms and that room has to be spotless before the time runs out, or else they don't win dessert for the night. Or sometimes there is a secret item that needs to be picked up in the house and whichever kids cleans it up, they get the prize. And just wait into legos enter the picture!!

mc - i do think my kids are a BIT to small for that, but we could work towards that. it's a GREAT idea!!!!
